ASK12B1 (Ask One to be One) has always been how men interested in Freemasonry have gained admittance into the world’s oldest fraternity. We invite any man with a belief in a supreme being who is of lawful age (18 years old +) and has a desire to better himself to join us in our journey to improve our own lives and that of the community.
How do I meet a Mason? Visit us!
Our stated meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM, with a meal before. We invite you to meet the brethren and ask all the questions you want. Join us for a meal and fellowship.
What’s the process for becoming a Mason? It’s very simple: click the “Petition for the Three Degrees” below to download a petition, or come to the Lodge before the stated meeting to pick one up.
Once we receive your completed petition and the associated fees, it will be presented to the members of the Lodge at our next meeting. Then an investigatory committee will be assigned to meet with you and your wife (if applicable) at a time and place (typically your home) to answer any questions and address any concerns you may have. At the next stated meeting after your interview, one of the men who met with you will inform the lodge members how the interview went and either recommend you for membership or not. Once you have been recommended, all present members of Brazelton Lodge will vote for you to receive the Three Degrees.
Once the voting is over, and you have been approved for membership in our Lodge, a representative of the Lodge will contact you and set a date and time for your Entered Apprentice degree.
The process from receiving your completed petition to you completing the Entered Apprentice degree usually takes 2-3 months. It is well worth the wait, we promise!
